'05 CH VR-X front shocks

Hi all,

I'm in the market for a set of front shocks for my '05 CH VR-X wagon, just standards, nothing special as I don't drive it hard. Anyways, a few prices I've gotten so far - genuine looking at $312 ea, Ultima's $145 ea or KYB's $165 ea.

I'm leaning towards the KYB's for quality at, what I reckon, is a great price. I'm just after few opinions as to whether or not I should be considering another option?

not alot of choice out there for wagons,

either or, they are both fairly average street/ OEM replacment type products
 
i would think they would be the same as a sedan. any stock replacement will do, like you said you dont drive it hard
 
i thort wagons would have had a different rear setup than normal

Op: if your look for just fronts check shock part number on sedan version, if the same you could find a wreck, otherwise some places may class the wagon ans sedan seperately.
 
here is a little tip for you KYB actually made and supplied the shocks for the CH Lancers as a OEM part which is why it took so long for KYB to come out with a AM part... but the KYB are the best way to go...
