I was just *poo* stirring... Your better off pissing into a cup and blue tacking it to the dash to get more relevant information than a vac gauge will give you
Agree, these types of meters were popular in the late 70's, on the first Commodore (VB), somewhat irrelevant these days = with the invention of fuel injection!
Mostly for carburettor fitted cars mate... So yes, old.
Problem is, n00bs read those things and think they're onto THE NEXT BIG THING.. All been done before, we were doing it in the 80's and I prefer the electronic way , today...
Electronic is better anyway, 10 gauges in one, hellz yes. I'll only be rocking two gauges, a stand-alone boost and a plx for everything else. I see no point in having gauges like a vacuum, when all of it can be diagnosed via computer plug in.
For those of us with no boost... We add things like sideband O 2
With PLX style gauge you need not have two... You can scroll through all the screens...
Yeah i just read that post as i didnt have the time yesterday... Its just a secondary way of finding out information that is 10 times easier to work out another way.
But if your someone like Aaron that is narrow headed than sure, that link should be book marked. So when we laugh at him for having a vac gauge he can forever link that pointless thread. lol
