I don't like petrol turbos. too much heat, longevity?Wouldn't it be easier/better to drop a 4B11T motor into it?
a car coming with that motor from stock will be more reliable due to not having to be adapted in any way.
Why not fit a v6 from the outlander, 6B31 - 3L 6v Mivec. It's basically the same gen as the 4B motors?
If they are the same gen as the 4b there is a good chance the lancer gearbox will bolt upFar as I know all are 4 wheel drive, gearing etc: but I suppose still possible only 3.0 ltr though.
At the same time, gotta take into consideration the cost to produce such an engine - to make it reliable long term (how many falcodores are 400k kms+),Supercharged 3.0L V6 dual mapped for economy and power. I reckon that'd sell if they made it right
