Stuck trying to decide

Looking for some peoples outside view of my situation to try and give me a clearer picture of it so I can make a decision on which way to go from here!

A bit of a text wall incoming!!!

So I have my '00 Mirage that now has a 4G93 bolted into place like it should have had all along! It also has King low springs with I forget the brand but Monroe or equiv. std replacement gas shocks and a strut brace on the front, it has a set of 15" wheels with 195/50 bluearths (yea I know super sticky) a 2" cat back exhaust, and currently slotted discs and upgraded pads for brake upgrades. I currently race in Type 2 under 2000cc class for Hill Climbs and Class C for motorkhana with my car club and am currently competitive considering the lack of seat time I have had due to covid!!!!

Now I have to keep the car in a road registerable condition as I drive to and from the track as well as compete with the car. I know it has risks but I just don't have the financials to run 2 cars at the moment. Type 2: Modified Road-Registered Vehicles (excluding Four Wheel Drive, Clubmans, Kit Cars and Replicas), allowing originally available options and limited modifications to engines, suspension and tyres (Rules are available here) and the motorkhana is all done on a flat plain with plenty of run off room for oopsies (like a skidpan only sand/dirt as its located in a former quarry) and classes are by wheelbase and so allow for any modifications so long as I maintain my wheelbase as far as I can tell.

So that is car and rules but I am stuck with do I modify the car further or leave it alone as I do enjoy both event types but also need to keep it roadworthy to get to and from work etc. and if I do modify it how far do I go as I currently have most/all the parts to bolt a turbo on (I have a TF035 from a forester a TD04l from a WRX and a TD 05-16g from an evo 8?) with an intercooler etc. I also have CH VRX calipers Front and Rear and a pair of mini disks to go in the front, still trying to work out the rears and how to solve that problem! I have the cable/software/ability to tune the ECU either NA or FI as well as access to a dyno.

I also am wondering if getting a rear sway bar and sneaking that past scrutineering is a worthy upgrade, I have a 2nd set of wheels that I am going to put tires onto when I can choose a good tyre for the mixed tar/dirt that I run the car on so I can have a road set and a race set so I can have a puncture/blow out and still get home as its a 36km/40min drive each way.

Anyway I look at it there is pros and cons to both but I know for a fact moving from Type 2 to type SV/MP is going to kill my ability to remain competitive as there is a toyota fridge I mean Carona with a 7m-gte and is scary fast, along with a good mate with the FTO/Mirage hybrid who will be/are my main competition in the MP and also C class in the case of the mirage.

Anyway any thoughts you guys might have would be greatly appreciated!!!

Cheers Jimmib
