Rocker cover gasket/spark plug gaskets

What would be the advantage of a steel head gasket on a non turbo car with 9.5:1 compression ratio?

Oh was that ebay kit with a thinner gasket? Will be looking at doing that, how much effect will the thinner gasket have on the compression ratio?

maybe bump u up to 9.6-7:1, instead of stock 9.5:1 lol it may do more but i would suspect going to far without a little piggy and some other tuning stuff could cause pre-det
and the ebay kits have a rubber one from memory, which is OEM replacment (same depth)

hey guys bit late, but relating to this got a question, when you re torque the bolts holding the cover down, my old man said theres an order to tighten the bolts you do one side then the opposite or something like that, you dont just do them in a row, cause its something to do with distributing the force evenly

When i tighten bolts, just generally, i do them up sorta firmly first then go back and tighten them all up.

pretty sure you go inside out, but id double check that somewhere.

Like go middle then middle left, then middle right, then left, then right etc.
