Proton Jumbuck - Engine Swap Questions

Hi everyone,

I have researched the different options available for CC's, and I have narrowed down my engine options to either swapping in a 4G93P Satria GTI, a 6A12, or a 4G93T from a Lancer GSR. I know there are a bunch of threads about CC engine swap options, but the threats are a bit older now so I was wondering if anyone would be able to answer some questions?

Budget: $1,500 - $3000 for donor car, and around $1000 for certification.

4G93P: Seems to be the cheapest and easiest option. I was wondering if anyone knows where to source a complete car, or any wreckers with most of parts anywhere in NSW/ACT/VIC? I checked Gumtree/Carsales and only found one car that was selling for 4k which is out of budget.

6A12: Originally I was thinking of swapping an FTO Mivec engine into the jumbuck but I think someone posted that it does not fit the CC engine bay, and the only option is a 6A12 from a HJ Galant.

1. Does anyone know if its worth getting a half cut of a non turbo Galant, or is it better to get the Galant VR4? Not too sure if this is within budget as I would need to get the rear part of the VR4 for AWD.
2. Can anyone confirm if an FTO 6A12M does or doesn't fit into a CC lancer?
3. I know this sounds crazy but would a Hyundai Tiburon V6 work instead of the above? These seem to be a lot cheaper than the other 6A12 options?

4G93T: Does anyone know how much a half cut would cost, and if they are easily obtainable in 2020?

Really sorry I know these questions have been asked a million times but the posts are from 2013/14 and the engine options are getting older/rarer.

Thanks!
