Piggy Back ECU

it would better to use a standalone ecu as a piggyback installation to control fuel, ignition and what else.
ONe would have to do this if their car was an automatic for instance as to retain the original ecu and automatic computer to control the gear shifting of the auto box.

Yeah the interceptor is good for those on a budget but if you have the dollars to spare then you step up to something similar to the E8 (which is what i had in mine) but if the car is just N.A the interceptor is plenty... there are a few bsic mods out there that can help free up a few hp's and give you more fuel economy.... I currently have a set of 41mm extractors and a 2.5" exhaust - UDP - SRI with K&N pod and a larger T.B... on my last dyno I got 138hpatw - I currently don't have any extra tuning help so the car is just running off the factory tuned ecu... but I am fairly confident if i added a AM I could look at an extra 10 - 15hp

i have a ch 2.0l and i get over 500km out of a full tank before the fuel light comes on and thats a mix of highway and stop start driving but when i use a heavy foot i get about 450kms before fuel light comes on

Check your coilpacks/plugs/leads/O2 sensor as well.

Safc is made by apexi btw, so you'll only find apexi ones lol. Buy matty's
