Hi guys
Bought my first CE a couple a weeks ago and been looking at mods ever since. Managed to get some light weight enkei wheels and tyres for 500 buks and that about it so far. Definately looking to do CAI on the factory airbox in the near future and will need to repaint most of the car (peeling clearcoat).

looks like a good base to start with

a glxi it would seem, did u get the 1.8L or 1.5L engine?
 
no i think 97 is still series 1, series 2 started at 99 i think and then 3 at 01
 
I'm considering going down the turbo route with my car. Does anyone know the stock compression ratio? Would it be fine to run turbo with front mount at about 7 psi on stock internals?
 
ppl have run 10psi with stock internals, the comp ratio is 9.5:1 stock
will need aftermarket ecu and all that jazz ofcourse
