After close to 2 years of owning my lancer and lurking this forum I felt as though the time has arisen to start posting stuff.

I am the owner of a 2001 CE lancer, when I picked her up she was fully stock aside from some fully hectic pedal covers and Supercheap special steering wheel. The car had only 95000 Km's and was one owner, and had a full service history including its major timing belt/water pump.

My intentions with the car was to keep it as an ultra cheap, ultra reliable daily that would serve me for the next 5 or so years.

I enjoy driving her and she is slowly getting bits and pieces that make it a nicer car to be in.

This forum has given so much help to me over the time I have had the car and I hope to start contributing more to the community.

I am currently studying Psychology and working for a specialty coffee roaster in Brendale, but enjoy all things cars in my limited spare time, and have been pleasantly surprised by my little lancer.

G'day and Welcome, i think haha.

The good thing about these cars, is in most causes they'll last an easy 5 more years for you, providing it doesnt live on limiter every single day ;)
 
Gidday and welcome to the club, with only 95,000 klms you should have a good run out of it, I bought mine with a 5 year plan as well then unload it, 11 years later still have it, part of the family now, so much for that plan.
