MCA Comfort Coilovers

Wanted to see what the best coilovers for driving the CE Lancer Coupe as a daily as I have seen some budget options but these really stand out to me as the description describes it can improve upon stock handling and ride quality. Wanted to see if anyone has these or if these are even worth it?

People usually choose BC red or gold because they are the pinpoint middle ground of price v quality. Idk what the new MCA line-up is like, but back in the day MCA blues felt excellent and they definitely improved handling while retaining daily comfort. But they were also like 1500 back then.

None of them are terrible ride quality, they are just stiffer. You can run them at minimum damper settings (softest) with high profile tyres and as long as the spring rates aren't stupid high for maximum comfort.

With all coilovers, you are still sacrificing ride quality comfort for handling. You don't get better handling for free. I recommend you try to sit in a car with coilovers first before pulling the trigger on a set yourself.

Mca make an excellent product. Have fitted them to quite a few street cars that get tracked regularly and they are great. There is a form that mca will get you to fill out with how you use your car. My advice would be to fit them yourself if you are able them set a ride height you are happy with then get the car corner weighted and wheel aligned. Tell the aligners if its a street car or a track hack and they can set it up appropriately. Hope this helps.

I’m a supplier for MCA. If you’re wanting a set priced up let me know. Currently best to contact me via mobile. If you’re keen swing me a message on here.
