Hey guys i have a 1997 mr lancer and was wondering if the front guards (quarter panels) from the 2000 model are a straight bolt on as i want to use the single piece headlights tather t g an the 2 piece ones? Also if upgrading the brakes to the proton gti brakes do i need anything other than the rotors/calipers and the master cylinder?

Guards are direct replacement, but I wouldn't change it if you don't have to.
Pretty sure lights are fairly simple, if I remember correctly you just need to trim out a bit of metal where the indicator plug goes for them to fit. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
I did the Proton upgrade to mine, never changed the master cylinder. But you can upgrade it to a 1" if you want better pedal feel.

That would be a pain in the ass, just get the whole trailing arm complete.
