Lancer CC- fan/ air con dash controler lights not working

Hi,
The other day I finally pulled out the old air con controller as I thought that was the problem to my two low fan speeds not working so I replaced it and still didn't work so I put it all back together all plugs and everything are back in. (I then found out the problem for that was the resistor and fixed that so my fan speeds are all working now :) ). I have now noticed that the fan/ air con lights for when the car head lamps are on don't work anymore (the picture below shows what area doesn't light up anymore, the air con green push in button still lights up but the rest are dead.) I have tested with another switch which has the two lights on it and it still doesn't work.
Anyone have any ideas??

there are 2 blubs that push in at the back try replacing the globes. the 2 wires hag off the side of the wiring to the fan switch.
I have been meaning to fix all of mine but don't want to pull the dash out to replace to clock.

can probably post a pic tomorrow to help.

^ this. There are two t5 bulbs in the back of those dials. Don't bother chucking coloured bulbs in there, nothing spectacular happens :lol: just replace them with regular incandescent wedge bulbs. Or white t5 LED's both work. You can pull them out like normal (hold in the sides and pull) but they are *mum*es to get to unless you have a hard grip or tiny hands.

I have tried with another controller which has the two light globes attached to it which go Into the back and still don't work. Would it be more related to a blown fuse?

If it was a blown fuse then all the lights would not work, nor will the radio as im sure they are all off the same fuse

Either way, have a look at all the fuses under the drivers side dash and make sure none are blown, also make sure all the fuses in the fuse box in the engine bay arnt blown

May have broken a wire. Get a circuit tester
