Induction

My daughter has a 2010 VRX SPORTSBACK auto. It has the most horrible induction noise from the standard airbox. Like VERY LOUD. Any suggestions on how to make it a quiet sounding induction, like 99% of stock cars are!! Its almost embarrasing for me, and I dont drive it!!
 
Hey mate, are you able to get a video for us? If you post it onto youtube and then put the link here it will be easiest.
 
I will try. Its just a very deep, loud induction noise, like its got a pod filter from hell on it. Thats about as good a description as I can give. As though its being driven at full throttle type noise. But its not.
