I don't see whats wrong with 4g15's?

well i was just trying too point out that their not as crap as some people think, they call them gutless peices of crap.

the last picture i think is putting out 180kw? im not sure.

i know their slow. i own one and have driven other cars before...

no offence but they are silly mods if you have no power to back them up...
 
4g15 need a lot of work to get them up to scratch. you can turbo them up 160wkw but to get there you'll need some decent internals, springs, head work, big injectors, pump etc. then from there the ignition system hits its limits and you have to get rid of the distributor set up and move up to multi-coil with electronic control. even then, i suspect you'll hit some ceilings as i haven't seen anyone take it beyond that.

but yes, 4g15s are not rubbish at all. just takes the dedication that not many people have. most youngins get it because they're affordable. then move into something with a 4g63, rb26, sr20, 13b (you get the point) when they're ready to move on.

No really royz, If you have a great handling car. It could smash another car with power on the roads up near aarons place.

Coilovers and swaybars are the way to go.
 
yeh well i got the swaybar already fitted, im not quite happy with the handling yet, so im looking at some 2nd hand strut braces so i dont spend too much money on them
but im not doing anti lift kit, heard it makes it hela unconfortable ride for a daily driver
 
pfft who can afford comfort these days anyway.. lol and yeah sam i guess thats true... i was alot faster then some faster cars through the hills in maleny.. and i dont even have a rear sway bar.. lol
