Front Bumper removal

Gday does anyone have a diagram showing everything that holds the front bumper on or a simple explanation?

I could only find this... for the rear bumper... But I'll keep looking.

Taken From another site, about Front Bumper Removal.

When you are removing the bar.

There are two srews in each wheel arch.
Two under each indicator.

And then there are several around the bottom of the bar that hold onto the the black plastics underneath.

The one you will most likely be missing. Is the 1 or 2 clips. (can't remember exactly) that are right in the middle infront of the radiator. These are serious pain in the ass to get off. The trick i found was to use a screw driver and go in between the gaps in the front bar. Just watever u do don't put too much pressure on them as when they go you will put your screwdriver straight through the radiator.

I think thats all of em. It's been a while so i may have added one some where. But thats it.

Little piece of advice. Go to supercheap auto and grab yourself a gregorys manual. Best 40 bucks you will ever spend on your car.

I remember i got remove the following screws
- Both screws on the wheel arch
- Remove the front grill, to remove another four clips
- Remove two clips beside the radiator near the top (Access through the gap at front bumper)
- Remove two clips at the bottom near radiator

your missing the 4 main bolts

there are 2x 12mm bolts on each chassis rail (2 rails) that run underneath the car.

3 bolts or clips in middle under the front grill behind top of bar

Couple of bolts each corner near front guards and plasitc inner cover

2 push or screw plugs underneath bottom on lip

2 bolts underneath that I think are the reo bar bolting onto body of car

And 1 plugs or bolt under each headlight or indicator..

Something like that anyway probably confused ya :clap:


Careful when taking off and putting on as the 3 plastic tabs under the front grill break easy I forgot about them and broke one.
 
No need for pictures as it's very easy. Just take a good hour and go slow. I found the hardest screw to be the ones above the tires because the *Richard Cranium* mechanic used anti-theft screws, wtf. As for those gay plastic clips, just break em, and dont forget the screws under your headlights. When you've got all the screws out, I think there is 12 total, your bumper will pretty much fall off!
 
Alright thank! save me rather get them to fitted for me.. i since on youtube on the new lancer.. look simple when you've two people doing it! any specific tools i need?
