Evo 7

Hey guys I have a CG lancer I've recently gotten an Evo 7 wing which I'm restoring. I had an accident in my car which has caused damage to only my front bumper and bonnet. I thought about getting an Evo 7 bonnet and bumper but unsure of it'll fit? It's a Evo 7 GSR bumper with a bonnet to fit it. My main concern is I've been told Evo's have a wider body which I thought might cause some issues. any help is greatly appreciated. I go look at the bumper tomorrow

Been covered before but more in relation to the CH, which is the same. You “can” bolt on an evo bonnet, crash bar, headlights, bumper and 1/4 pannels.

BUT

The 1/4 pannels are flared and wont meet the CG body work nicely.

The wheel arch gap/spacing is different on an evo so your wheels will no longer be centred in this space. You can fix this by using evo lower control arms but you introduce a bunch of other issues.

Pannel fitment all round is a little average.

If you really want the evo gear, best option is to make custom guards from your CG ones and the evo ones - it will still look a bit funny. Remember to search up the cost of these parts too, you will be shocked by the cost of head lights.

The real value based method is to use headlight eyelids (paint matched) and a replica evo bumper bar to suit the CG.

Well I'm going to go look at a Evo 7 bumper and Evo 9 bonnet. The total price is $280 for them. Would that be worth getting and figuring something out or just skip it..?
