pin 58 is the tacho signal which needs the pullup. wire pin 58 to the tacho as normal, one side of the resistor on pin 58 and the other to 5v (pin 81).
pin 89 is the crank signal which may work.
No luck with the pull up resistor on pin 58/81, verified that I was getting the same voltage readings near the ecu where I made the joint, as well as at the cluster/end of the wire.
