Hi guys,
Swapped out my indicators today, and thought I would post up how I did it in case anyone ever needs to know. Its very easy.
Tools:
Small flat head screwdriver or other similar shaped object
Masking tape
Before:
First off I masked down one side of the indicator, as you need to use the screwdriver to maneuver it out, and you don't want to damage your paintwork.
Then push the indicator towards the rear of the car to depress the clip holding it in place.
Whilst you are pushing it towards the rear of the car, insert the screwdriver in the recess and pull it towards you, removing the indicator from its housing carefully.
Unplug the old indicator by depressing the clip at the point highlighted in the picture, and pulling hard. May take some swearing to remove.
Plug in new indicator, and place back into housing. Put the side closest to the door in first, then push until you hear it click into position.
New indicator in and looking pretty:
There, that was easy now wasn't it?
