CH 4g69 Injector upgrade

Just wondering what size injectors and what injectors fit directly into the 4g69. I'm considering doing some fairly serious N/A mods to my car and want to upgrade the fuel system to cope with the demand. I'm going to be getting a cam, exhaust, intake, ECU, high comp pistons.. Just want to make sure its getting enough fuel as I know the stock injectors are only 250cc. I've read things about people using WRX 440cc's but just want some other information.

Cheers.

yeah i tink its the pink top ones that do. not sureill have to double check.

Ok, I want to get a bigger fuel rail aswell, would I need to get a bigger fuel pump? Im going for 140+kw atw.

Woah hold up right there BOSS....
ok yes you are correct that the WRX ones fit and yes they are a complete swap no mods need to be done..
bigger fuel rail this will have to be custom made or you could go for a evo 7,8 or 9 rail and then block off the end as there is no return line and no fuel regulator.
bigger fuel pump, I am pretty sure you have to get a Walbro evo 8 one but this is not a straight forward swap as you need to force it into the tank it will not just slide in...

now with all of this extra fuel you are also going to need to trim all that fuel back as you will be over fueling and the car will not run very well at all, the mods that you are wanting and the HP that you are aiming at the stock fuel rail, injectors and pump are not nessicary spend that money on a good AM ECU that will give you the gains that you are wanting.

if you change over the rod pistons cam and change compression you will need a great ecu to cope.
The Eclipse throttle bodies are getting hard and expensive to find atm best price I have seen is approx $180USD

Yeah I'm looking towards an Adaptronic ECU. I want 150kw atw and I reckon good exhaust, intake, cams, udp, and ECU should get me there. I think fuel system upgrades are unnecessary.

I am only familiar with the Haltech being the only one that I have used - I have not heard of other ECU's being succesfully fitted and working, so maybe more research needs to be done on this to confirm that it works

ive heard greddy emanage is really good bang for buck. so maybe look into that??

emanage is a pos.
there is no need to fit larger injectors to your car.
it will just overfuel if not tuned for it.
the stock injectors has decent headroom to make more power if you are staying n/a
factory tuned car is already rich up top.
it can be alot leaner and make more power and torque.

The adaptronic has even used in the Ralliart colt as a piggyback application with full fuel and ignition control, throttle by wire etc. Standard ecu remains to control the rest of the gadgets.
Ive used the Adaptronic in a lot of cars n/a and turbo and tuned many of them to pass im240 emissions as well so they are fully engineered.

Once you start doing alot of engine mods you need to check the air fuel mixture to make sure it is within a safe figure.

Henry I know when my car was being modified several types of ecus were supposed to be tried out on it and the Greddy came as being not comaptable but - I do not have faith in the people that tested it out either... in your experience with a large range of cars have you seen anyone sucessfully use the Greddy blue or even the ultimate... I know in the states they havve tried the Greddy and it has not worked for them but there main ECU is different from ours so this still leaves the question unanswered as to if it works on the Aussie car or not?

would be really interested to see what does or does not work...

I still think the best way to get the most out of this engine in this chassis is a little reverse engineering. using a reflashed 4G93 ecu :)

^At least the EU 4G63 (not the Evo engine, Lancer N/A) ECU is 100% programmable. I am currently driving my CS9W with E85 ethanol with 100% standard ECU. All you need is OpenPort 1.3U cable and EcuFlash software (and some programming background). For adjustments also mandatory are EvoScan datalogging software (for the OP1.3U cable) and wideband Lambda (Innovate, if possible, dataloggable in EvoScan).

It has 100% same programming tools that are used in Evo's and many other Lancer engine types. I don't see why it wouldn't be possible in Australian Lancers? I can give hint's where to look, if you want to know if it is possible.

Mitsubishi ECU is so versatile that I just don't know why Mitsu hobbyist's would want to buy aftermarket ECU's. Even launch control's and Anti-Lag are available on Standard ECU.

I also am going to change my CDH240 injectors to Evo V 560cc injectors. I am just soldering an adapter from Nippon Denso Top Slot connector to Evo's Bosch EV1.
