CE Lancer Evo bonnet conversion?

Hi guys, just wondering if an evo something or other ...maybe a 5-6-7 would fit on a CE lancer...or are the aftermarket evo bonnets that fit CE lancers just have the look of the evo bonnet, but are smaller or something ...just need some info ...and if anyone knows where to get one from to fit a ce lancer - looked in ebay, no luck
 
the genuine bonnets wont fit from a 5 or 6 because theyre based on the sedan shape and u have a coupe. the 7 is a completely different series of lancer altogether so that wont fit either.

ur only gonna find fibreglass copies for a coupe. jack at xracing can hook u up with one

you can also get the skins too cut and mold into your OEM hood but i've heard their anus

I think thats what mine has, bogged/fibreglassed on its all cracking and *poo* :sick:
 
There is a mob near the nsw qld border that does bonnet that are adr aproved.

Cant remember there name but they were in hot 4s years back.

yeah urs isnt even a copy of the evo lol
its like a dodgy design styled like the evo vent but more boxy lol

at least therse a turbo under the dodgy hood lol

drakos its ur choice in the end. i like the evo hood on coupes. u have the rest of the evo kit so.. ur choice
 
it's an odd combination, but i think you've pulled it off well. the bonnet would suit. but it will still look without it. it's a win-win situation for you i reckon.

do the fibreglass evo bonnets have the normal ce lancer locking mechanism on them ...or do i have to use bonnet pins?

Be careful, you don't want the samething to happen like Dione old bonnet.
