Hi everyone, I'm Charles and am new here.
I have just got myself a 2003 CE Mirage. The intention is to turn it into a budget track day car. The car is basically standard with the optional 14" alloy wheels.
I have installed a set of BC Racing coil overs so that ticks off suspension.
I am now looking at a budget brake upgrade from the standard 236 dia rotors to the 256 dia rotors. I don't want to go to the 276 dia rotors just yet because that would mean getting 15" wheels and tyres. I came across this youtube video
I have looked at other forum posts and they haven't listed (as far as I can see) this option of callipers, bracket & rotors from a 2004-2008 CH ES Lancer that bolt straight up.
My question is, has anyone else done this? I'd like to swap out the calliper & bracket and get new slotted rotors and new pads. It seems to me that Lancer parts will be a bit easier to come by than the Proton ones listed in other threads.
Any advice or share of your experience is appreciated.
