BIG PROBLEM

so, was doing my oil change yesterday once i got the sump plug off my welded sump then noticed one (yes just the on) front tyre is almost dead and both rears are dead so on the look for something new. anywho whilst in the engine bay i noticed on the firewall 2 small tears about 3cm long on each side. so what to do??

weld them up and add strut brace
drift stitch and hope it will last

But post pics, are they just random tears? or are they tearing from a seam/weld/hole,

Without seeing pics, I would put a small drill through the point of the tear to reduce the chance of crack propogation, then see how easy it would be to weld them up.

+1 for drill two holes on the end of each split and get it welded. i know a guy at acacia ridge who does awesome work

pics to show will help but it sounds alot like what a few cc coupes do. Basically non repairable or not worth spending money on to repair. Time to send it to the wreckers maybe
