04 CH fuel filter and timing belt

G'day guys,

It's about time for my major service can anyone tell me where the CH fuel filter is?

And has anyone done a timing belt on the CH lancer?

From what i gather, the fuel filter is a part of the fuel pump in the CH's (someone confirm this?)..

I was planning on doing my timing belt until i had a look through the service manual and decided i couldnt be bothered, i just payed a mechanic mate to do mine.

A copy of the ch service manual if you wish to have a look..

Someone on here did the work before and posted it up, cost him $177 for a new fuel filter to be installed.

can get Sakura brand fuel filters part number FS1037 through Autopro if you want cheaper version!

used it on my Lancer @ 400000k service

I think Sakura and Wesfil Cooper brands have an extra return hose line which is not available on the CH. I dunno how you managed to fit it.
