Hi

1/. Can anyone tell me if the factory clock-spring for a evo 7/8/9 will that fit a ch vrx steering column so i can fit the evo wheel allowing for a functioning airbag.

2/. My son recently got defaulted for coilover suspension on his 2004 lancer ES and i was wondering are any particular make of coilovers legal EG: pedders or is the problem only the magic 100 mm "wheel of death" test?

3/. Can you fit a set of standard mitsubishi ch VRX coils to the old 2004 standard ES struts/shocks and will the diameter of the vrx coils be the same for es, as i believe that 2 different diameters exist?

4/. If i cant find any CH VRX coils in good condition, would new standard height VRX coils from pedders/king springs fit the ES ?

Thanks for your advice in advance! :problem:

Cheers

Yep completely interchangeable. If probably stick with matching springs and shocks however to lengthen useable life.

Not that I'm encouraging law breaking but I would switch the suspension just to clear defect and put coils back in. Then either sell off for what you bought them for or keep them for next defect if you have storage space
