i'm thinking of getting VRX tail lights but came across these beauty:

So now I am comtemplating which one to get.

What are your opinions? which would look better on a black CH?

Re: VRX tail lights or not?

I do like the Mars ones, very sexy, and on the street they're far less common than the VRX (these are the black altezza type, correct?). Just note though that the Mars ones still need globes installed (only part led) and the black ones are far dearer than the black/red ones.

Re: VRX tail lights or not?

It's called Smoked Black LED. Yeah globes are needed I believe. Both smoked black and black/red are the same price ($299).

i like the MARS ones... though they are mighty dear. i was looking at those and a set of the angel eyes headlights for mine, figured they'd set off the yellow nicely... but they are massive 'spensive.

TLDR: MARS ones look hawt.

im partial to stock but...

those mars ones look sick as fck. the black altezzas. they just look like stock ones nightshaded. up to you man

cheaper option would be to retofit. Heat / Remove tail lights and spray paint it black from inside. :)

Would the process for removing the insides of the taillights be the same as for the headlights (as in heat in microwave to loosen glue and then disassemble)?

I just have the stock tails and wrapped them in black Flyeyes which looked nice. Never been a huge fan of the aftermarket stuff for the CH models myself.

Okay I see. The vinyl smoked wrap isn't too bad but I don't particularly enjoy seeing the same stock lights through a darker shade. Thought I might go for a change.

Yeah I know what you mean, they do get a bit boring. Definitely go for something different to the ricey VRX style tails.

There are a few different designs out there but some places charge an arm and a leg for something which isn't really that flashy.
