Wheel & tyre sizes

Well I picked up second hand set of wheels & tyres.

15 inch wheels wrapped in 195/55 tyres.

My last small car, a TX3 turbo, I had 195/50 R15's on that, scrubbed a little till I rolled the guards
I'm thinking the Mirage would need the same size.

Part of me says just throw them on and see what happens another part says get lower profile tyres.

They should be fine, not a whole lot of difference between 55 and 50 profile on a 195. Only way they'll scrub is if the offset sticks the wheels out too wide. I had 205/55/16's on mine for a while with no scrubbing, so you should be fine. But chuck them on and see how they go.

I've been meaning to chuck them on for a few days, between floods and now the flu, had no luck in getting it done, LOL :roll:
