G'day,

Wheel Guru needed !!!

I just bought a '97 CE Mirage as a track hack and it has 15" chasers on the rear, I would love to find out what they are off and get two more matching ones.

Wheels are steel, silver in colour (looks like factory finish), they have 14 holes like chasers/pursuit rims. Markings are 6X15 1303 ET45. Since they are on the Mirage they are 4X100, C.B.56.1

Previous owner is not sure what they are off, he reckons they are off a late model Corolla, but I am prety sure Toyota has a different C.B. (centre bore) to Mitsubishi ?

Cheers,

Hey dude, get a pic up otherwise cant really tell ;)

and welcome, post up a intro + ride thread

Cheers, mate,

I will post some more info when I get the car home and can take a few pics.

im no good to ya dude, all i know is they are stockies, but as you said... not mitsu ones.

steel rims are fine on track cars and have been so for many years . remember the ford GT came with 12 slotter rims and was used in several Bathurst races same goes for the Charger etc and even Open Wheelers to date still run steel rims for there class. me and the mates used to pay dollars to have our wide steel rims chrome plated.

cars your talkin about are 30-40 years old, in there day they ere the best on offer thats why they were used. open wheelers i have seen arnt steel wheels like we are talkin about, more racing wheels (light weight). wouldnt expect to see wheels from an open wheeler criusin the streets

so just for looks when its on a trailer?

MOR31, let's keep the thread relevant here......... I need these for a specific purpose and am two rims short........... :D

would prob find it easier to find a set of 4 wheels instead of trying to 2 of an unkown wheel

You probably right, something tells me they would have to be off a van ? I noticed all steel rims are black unless tyey are left "naked" from factory then they are silver.....

I got a pair of late Honda Civic ones (2001-2005) and they are the same except for colour.....

Some mitsu's came with stock wheels like that with a centre hub over it, but this looks to be missing the silver hub
