tranny problem

ok so basically i think i have *fudge*ed my tranny a bit

basically it started when i was working on my new amp, i d/c the battery and then after i finished i connected it back and turned it on to see how it sounds.
was happy with it so i turned it off again, now every time i take my car for a drive i makes a sort a extra rev sound at the gear change(auto)

vrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmm MMM lol

ill see if i can get a video of it
 
The auto's can do some weird things when they have power removed - re-learning your driving style.

Leave the battery disconnected for a bit (can't remember how long, 10min?), then drive the car normally for a few days and see how it goes.
-Unless the transmission has a seedy history, shouldn't have anything to worry about.

the tranny is in pretty good condition as far as ive seen

when i d/c the battery, i left it off for like 1hr i think, do u think that could be the problem
 
Disco battery for an hour, turn ever thing off, reconnent battery and start car but don't touch anything when you do it not the gas peddle ac nothing and let idle for just over 10 minutes then turn car off . Then restart to check good idle.
It may take a couple of days for everything to settle back in so be patient.
That's how you correctly reset your ecu doing this over the years has cleaned all sorts of rough idling issues and the like esspecially on a 1.5.

When I disconnected my battery then drive around I nearly stalled like twice on the way home and the car idled a bit funny for a bit. Few days later it was fine again.

So just wait a bit and it will sort itself out.
 
Stay away from them.... Oh wait different tranny.
