tossing up turning my ce RWD

It will be a lot of effort/time/money. So unless you have all 3, I would avoid chopping up your car.

Otherwise. Do it.

EDIT: A simple search for "RWD conversion" would have returned these results aswell.

Basically if you can do what unclepaulie says, go for it, if not, stick to RWD lancers on NFS or something.

tossing up the idea hey.
heaps of people have done it...
seriously read the post unclepaulie linked

AWD the car like how ive done it, then weld the couplin in the box and delete the front shafts, thats how a few people done it to their EVOs in NZ, no stuffing around with engine mounts etc, polus you can always go the AWD if you get sick of RWD

some of you guys talk like you think its easy and you hae done these modifications before

I know lol, ive never heard that tyhe Silvia rear end fits, until i see for myself that its a bolt on job, then i will recommend it

I have done an AWD conversion and i have a locking splin in my car still which puts the wheels 50/50 or if you disconnect the transfercase/tailshaft it will run 100% power through fronts, that works the same if you disconnect the front shafts to run RWD, but you will still wont totally get 100% due to drivetrain loss, but it will work... and you'll chew ALOT of centre diffs unless u weld it

Sounds like a lot money and even more time. What's it's use going to be track or road? For less money you could have an insane fwd, or just buy a rwd for what you need it for.

sorry new to the whole forum thing, was tossing up fwd, cause as far as it goes this model hadles rather well, just after a different style of ride and a big sleeper
