Rubbing

Just got some 18's with 215mm wide tyres and they rub on the inside but not on the guard on full lock only when turning right. Any suggestion on how to fix the problem without taking off the wheels or taking it to a mechanic? :wtf:

i have a solution, turn just under full lock when needing to turn right.

other than that get smaller tyres or rims, or change offset, camber etc so it doesnt do that or 5mm spacer might help

215 18's are to big and make ya car handle like rubbish, but its prob just on the inner plastic guard and it'll wear a hole through it in no time and the noise will stop.

i beg i differ, i pushed my car very hard with my big wheels and still performed well

when i had my 18s with 215 tyres when i use to turn full lock the tyre would jam itself on the chassis and stop the car. harden up. lol

Lol yeah harden up and, made me laugh, no need for a big brake upgrade MOR just jam it hard right or left.

Hahaha i do love this forum. Ha i might just change the camber. Its hitting on the actual body (the metal) down low. took a chunk outta the tyre. Cheers fellas
