roof rust replace??

Hello all I own a gsr lancer and have the roof rust going on. I read forums from years ago saying a replacement from mitsubishi for $600. I assume they don't anymore but does any other company make it or will I have to cut apart another car or try and salvage mine, cheers
 
It's the glue they used in the roof rails. Need to replace those rails and then cut the rust out of the roof so it doesn't come back. Would be calling Mitsubishi first
 
Is the roof on a 95 sedan the same as any other models. I'm sure it isn't but I havnt paid much attention to other lancers before. Like the coupe or later models?
 
Rails should be the same or very similar, roof on sedans is wider to my knowledge
 
Go to your local proton dealer and get rails and turret for a 1996-2000 Proton Wira, they are identical to the cc lancer sedan and cost 1/2 the price mitsu sell them for
 
Is MB945513 the right part number for the roof. Old mate says there's two listing for the sedan and doesnt know which one. Although one has been discontinued by the looks of it. This was from proton
