Remote locking?

So I was just wondering if anyone had done a remote locking instal on a ce themselves.
Got kit at home, but I can't find any wiring diagrams for the stock no remote central locking. Anyone able to link me/know what wires are what? Worst comes to worst, i'll have to pull the actuators, but if that's the case, how the hell do I get them out?

Thanks guys,
Kicky.

Is remote locking not standard for a CE? I always thought it was because mine has it.. Sorry not sure how it was installed

na, remote locking was not standard, mine is a 98' MR and it only came with central locking, but since i bought an OEM kit, it was super easy to hook up, came with easy instructions because it was designed for it,
with after market ones it can be 'tricky' to hook up if you dont have much experience due to the fact that they were generic designs

Definitely not standard, only the later mr models came with them I think. How much was the oem kit ces? And how did it hook up? this might be the better option, depending on the price.

I always thought a central locking kit was standard, at least for the mirage.

For OP: ive installed a generic $99 one from supercheap myself. it took a while to feed all the wires around, but its pretty straight forward. I pretty much ripped out the factory stuff that was already there. I need to adjust the passenger side, cause its come loose, but yeah.
Take a photo of the kit, and post it up here and we'll try to help

Central locking was standard, remote central locking was only on select models.
I'm tempted to buy an oem kit, looks like it just plugs straight up, being a 15 min job at most.least need confirmation as to whether they do plug straight up, if wiring/modifications are involved.

its not exactly a 15 min job, yes its easier with oem because it was designed for that car, but you will still have to splice into the fuse box (but mine came with all the correct attatchments that made life easier)
