Plebs CE confusion

Bought my '02 CE late last year, and absolutely love it, the guy who sold it to me had done a bit to the car but wasn't very specific about anything.
He said to me that he had the car '98 tuned' and had the ecu respecced, I'm not sure if he was making things up to convince me to buy it (he really didn't have to, I loved this car the second I saw it) but the big thing that's gotten me is the sticker on the side, the car has a custom body kit on it which is badged with "rtxtreme" on every panel, I tried Google and nothing has come up. Does anyone have any idea?

Oh, and I also have no clue what wheels are on it, just got a set of AVID1 AV08's for it in white because white wheels are nifty

G'day and welcome.

It could very well be returned, but it wont be possible to tell unless you pay really good attention to some OBD diagnostics or have another tuner check.
The eXtreme kit was a dealer fitted option i believe. Many dealers had excess stock in the early 2000s, so in order to get them moving, they partnered with local manufacturers to dress up the car to get them sold. Bodykits, stickers, and interior trims/seat patterns is about all they changed through, no mechanical changes.

Definitely a unique body kit. Kind of looks like Talon rear spoiler and the rear bar addon is similar but different to the Droid kit. Could be anything, looks neat though!

I’d ask the previous owner who did the tune if you’re worried about it. Plenty of people selling a 98 flash tune for Ce’s, myself included haha

Hey legends, me again, not gonna make a new thread to avoid clogging the feed up, this might have already been covered in another thread but haven't found anything since I've been looking.

The PlebBox has a Mitsubishi security system in it (with remote key fob) but the whole chip is busted, possibly water damage but I'm not sure, how much do you reckon it'd cost to have a new chip coded? Or do you think I'd be fine without it, I've been locking the doors with the key since I bought it so I've only just noticed

Thanks again legends, appreciate you all

You can program a new key fob in yourself
Read the thread and follow these instructions.

You just need to acquire a key fob if you can find one.
