NEED HELP! Bought LED Tail lights but the conectors dont fit

Hey guys this is my first post.
Please help me :(
Basically last week i ordered Mars performance red LED Tail lights for my 2009 Lancer Aspire.
I went to install them today and the connectors on the LED lights do not fit or plug into my oem boot wiring harness.
The connectors are completely different even though the ebay add guarantees 100% fit on aus CJ lancers.
Dont really understand what happened here. If anyone can enlighten me that would be great! Hoping not having to send them back
as tbh i cant really be bothered dealing with postage, etc.
I just emailed the company and am awaiting their reply but im just really confused to as why it wouldnt fit.
The LED tail lights come with an instruction manual for the Jap spec lancers and US spec, maybe it doesnt cover Aus
lancers even though the seller was from Melbourne and it said, 100% fit aus lancer.

you are going to have to wire them up yourself

You're super sure those are the ports for the lights? They're not for the speakers?

(being legit don't laugh at me)

Might need to pay an auto elec $50 to wire them up for you using some sort of oem connector (possibly the ones from your original tail lights)

yeah bud definitely sure, they came straight out of the stock tail lights

yeah thats fair enough mate but it f*cks me off how the add says 100% fit my car, yet now i have to modify them :/ I even saw on carsales another Lancer Aspire with the same tail lights for sale. doesnt seem like he modified them to fit.
Luckily Ive got an uncle who can do it for me, he knows his *poo*.

What is a lancer aspire?

Just another name for a CJ?

Its the top of the range before the ralliart basically.
Has a full leather interior, wood grain and a 2.4l engine.
Australia only model and production stopped in 2010.

Got them working guys thanks!
Turns out the connectors did fit all along i was plugging in the wrong one :S
But now after 10 minutes i get a ASC off error on the dash saying service required. I have found out that it is because of the LED's low resistance so i am taking the car to an auto electrician tomorrow to check it all out. We'll see what happens!

Sounds like you need an LED load resistor, this is what sucks about modern cars, things that shouldn't matter to anything else cause huge electrical dramas :(

Yeah you need a load resistor across the brake light wires. ECU doesn't see the right current or resistance and thinks you have a blown bulb...

wow such a little thing yet causes an annoying issue.... WHY MITSUBISHI WHY! :( just putting it out there.... seems to be a 'european' movement with cars these days... don't get me started on the sensors for a Volkswagen/audi/skoda....

ps- yeah i get that it all comes down to safety but just seems so irrelevant at times...
