N light flashing limp mode??

hey guys,
so sometimes when im driving, the auto trans drops so i have no power like in a low gear and n light flashes. pull over turn off then on again and back to normal happens every now and then. ive put fluid in it and did change smother but today same thing. ive searched the net and have found things like input output sensors, trans range sensor or take to mits dealer. im hoping someone might have had this problem or could give me some info on a fix?? any help would be great.

Start with the simple things first. Is the trans losing fluid? Just how much fluid did you put in it and is it at the correct level? (not over full)
 
1 litre i topped it up with. and pretty sure not over full think im gonna dump the oil and change filter.
 
Check if you have any leaks first then do the oil and filter change. Read the manual on how much oil to put in and how to check the level properly. If that does cure your limp mode then start checking electrical connects and failing that, look to sensors.
 
yeah thanks mate, guy told me today to gice the connectors a spray cause they might be dirty what you think?
