From what I have gathered, the two lettered codes I believe are what MMAL refer to the colours as on the plates that are put on the car in Aust whereas the plates from the factory will quote the colour code as being a letter followed by two numbers.

Off my CJ I have both D06 international code, local code though is HT.

Very confusing system....

Yes satellite silver is RT. Same as my mirage.

Brendan, i'm trying to find paint code for the Evo 6 "red" on the rocker cover, anyway of getting that, i've checked and posted threads all over and no luck so far.

not really, its not a serviceable thing, so they dont really plan on it. You can get OEM touch up paint cans for the exterior, but not for individual parts.

Just get some dupicolour engine paint, and spray on a peice of steel and hold it up next to.

First you should use heat proof paint on the rocker cover, so see how close that red matches the car.

One trick I was told is to get them to make a can based on you color code under the bonnet, this won't be heat proof but get some heat proof primer and clear. The 2 layers either side of the color should help protect it.

BTW where is Twilight Blue on the list? My paint code is FJ on the CC Lancer.

What if his car is white and he wants the factory red valve cover? The paint code will be for white paint, not for red paint.
