LED front badge?

So my front badge arrived today and I'm goin to try and wire it up to an interior switch instead of the headlights.
Any ideas where I can feed a wire through or should I look for an empty fuse in the boxes and send it through that way?

led front badge.. wouldnt it be easier just to shove the 2 wires onto the parkers harness? im assuming u want it to turn on as parkers are on? or do u want a seperate on/off switch for that?

I'm hopin for a separate one. Thinking of using fuse taps to connect from engine bay to interior then goig back through another empty fuse.

sounds like a hassle, just get ur own fuse for the positive, run it from the grille through the grommet to a switch wherever you want along the dash.. pick up pos/neg from cig lighter/hu

Well I decided hassle free and just hooked up to the headlight fuse in the engine bay. But could you tell me where the grommet is? Looking Into it I can't find anywhere :(
Hoping to put my amp in soon but I can't find somewhere or the power cable :(

Grommet is above the drivers pedals or the other one to use is inside the passengers wheel well, you have to remove the plastic liner to see it.

Edit for the amp the best one to use is in the wheel well, it gives direct access into the cable duct down the side of the car.use a coupe of short self tappers then to secure the amp to the back of the rear seats. Also make sure you run the cable in split loom up until the entry grommet and enough cable ties to secure the cables through the engine bay and wheel well areas.

SO I've ordered all of my system now and it's on the way, just putting the wiring in so far so its all ready to go. That grommet is incredible Ryan. took a few tries to pull it through the inside car grommet but It works well. Running 4 gauge wires...two of them :D

A bit of steel wire works wonders for doing that sort of stuff (eg a coat hanger)...

Also in answer to your PM, I used the split loom to protect the cables, stops the softer plastic/rubber on the cable from rubbing over time against either parts of the car or even the cable ties securing it in place! Also once in the engine bay it looks tidier than multicoloured cables running everywhere IMO...

I agree. Thanks for the response Ryan. I've done it from the grommet to the fuses which I cable tied to near where the stock air box was. Got black weather proof silicon and filled the grommet gap around the wires just to be safe.

In very rare cases where you can't find a grommet to run your power wire through, grab a sharp drill bit line it up on the passenger side smack it through and hope for the best!

Sorry but is the dumbest 'advice' I have heard of in a long while. Read the thread and you'll realise there is no need for such stupidity....

This. I take it he meant the gromet on the passenger side where its sealed. errrr or atleast i hope he did............

If I didnt find the grommet, which i did once i got the wheel arch plastic off, I would not try and drill or 'smack it through'. The car's built that way for a reason and I'd rather an audio shop f**k it up if i need it that badly so that I can get insurance on the workmanship etc.
