Kyb AGX were to buy?

I have spent a few hours trolling thru various sites and not really coming up with any info maybe I am looking in the wrong places...

I am look/wanting/needing to buy some KYB AGX struts for the MR but do you think I can find someone that sells them...

Are these now obsolette?

Reason for wanting these is the car already has lowering springs so no need for much more than this - I suppose I could get some coilovers but again really limited choice BC... I know Hens has these I am just trying to find someone more local (W.A at least) I am after quite a few other suspenssion parts but this is a absolute nessicity

i would have thought they would sell kyb agx's on their website...
 
well checked them out and there is no listing for any Lancers... :( seems the only type available are the BC... which I dnt mind but...
 
BC are all imported by JustJap in NSW, so no matter who you buy from they are coming from here anyway....might as well just buy off Henry!
 
Again not alot of info on them... (Koni) I was after a adjustable shock hence the KYB... and from what I have seen with the KONI you use the exsisting outer of the shock??? sounds like you have to build your own... will look again...

What are others on this site using
 
Yes with the Koni's the front shock is cut and a Koni insert is put in into it.
They are still a really good shock though.

I heard KYB are too stiff
 
yeah that is half the problem for me is that the front shock on my car is damaged so I would need to possibly scource another strut anyway... I have been a few CE with the KYB and they have been really nice - yes a little rough but this car is not really going to be for cruising so much more sports orientated...
I might just end up going with the BC as there is not really that mch difference between the pricing
 
looks like coilovers it is - I found out on another site that KYB are not making the AGX for our car anymore... hence why I can't find them... apparenly they stopped about 2 months ago
So BC or KSport or Tein SS I have D2 on my CH... I think in the end they are all the same comes down to price...

sorry i meant why not go bilstien shocks? and you should be able to find kybagx's on kyb's website right?
