Hi all I was just wondering I’m interested in getting some red lighting for the inside of my car, Any suggestions on what I should use, I’ve been looking around and the LED’s are looking more predominant now. Any advice on what I should use.

Umm... welcome, Intro?

You can get red LED replacement bulbs for your center light.
You can buy neons for cheap.
You can also get red replacement bulbs for all your dash lights.
 
very teenage ricer mod but whatevs (not a good thing by any mean but we have all been there)

you can either change ur bulbs over to red led bulbs or run new led strips
changing bulbs is easiest and cheapest

u will need 1x 31mm festoon bulb of your choice for the roof light, pop off clear plastic replace bulb (with right polarity)
can also change boot light with a 31mm festoon
can buy them off ebay quite cheaply
for dash lights have a search on the forum as there is a whole topic on it

i suggest you dont do red as it looks tacky cheap and typical cool teenager mod
for something that will work with the car and actually practical, mebe go for some white superbright leds, more modern, still low cost, more light, no tacky coloured light
 
wow i was actually wondering what type of bulbs the roof and boot was a little while ago, since i wanna get some much brighter white LED ones instead of the crappy yellowish ones. Thanks! :p (2.99 for two off ebay :)
 
ha res settle down, u like feeding it to the new ones dont ya.
OT go for super white light any coloured light will be too dull. i will have to get pics of mine for ya make it look like i don't have any tint on my car (i have 15% tint)

lol, not quite,
its a 2011 SX orange CJ me and him are gonna pick it up on friday from the dealers

so i will take some pics for ya's and get him to do an intro thread and ride thread for ya's :p
