Snapchat-1326202232.jpgSnapchat-311311424.jpgSo I bought this bumper today and am prepping it to be painted, but its this plasticy glossy type stuff and i don't know if it'll prep the same as the normal paint.

Does anyone know what I should do?

Sand it back til not shiny. Don't have to strip all the paint entirely. Filler primer if needed, normal primer if not needed. Sand back. Prep it. Colour. Sand back. Prep it. Clear. Give it a polish after a month or so.

Sanding between coats with 2000grit paper fyi. Wet sanding is fine. Whatever works best with your materials on hand. If you *fudge* it up, just sand it back.

Alright sick, i was thrown off by the texture but that clears it up a lot.

So how much do i need to sand in between coats and how many coats do i do of each?

Sand as required, til smooth surface again. 7 colour and 5 clear is a bulletproof amount
