Hey guys so I picked up a new sweet glxi cluster ( with tacho) hooked everything up and it worked, replaced everything and then it stopped working. Any ideas?

Weird, that's how it's done. Double checked your earth is still grounded and that both ringlets are still tight, and your spliced wire is still receiving the tacho signal? May have just pulled one wire too far while putting everything back together.
Update, seems then TM wire had come loose ( mustn't have crimped hard enough). Anyways changed wires and new ringlets, started up the car and boom working tacho
