Gc ecu location

passenger side under the glovebox. There’s a trim you can slide off above where your feet would be if you were in the passengers seat. Should find it pretty easy.

Take the glovebox out if you’re struggling - you’ll see the big bundle of wires.
 
Cheers mate. By chance would you know which wire is the tach signal? I have literally gone through every wire in the back of the cluster and can’t get a signal. I think it may be a voltage difference between the cars system and the aftermarket shift light I have. Want to test it directly at the ecu before I just take the light back out.
 
Pin 58 for my 4g94 CH. Can’t confirm however, I’ve never tested it. I just know my cluster works haha
 
The signal may be incompatible btw - there’s several aftermarket tachos that state Mitsubishi tach outputs are not suitable.
