Factory reversing camera

Hey guys,
So on the weekend i bought myself a full clarion system headunit, speakers, sub etc. I went to put the head unit in the other day but on the back of it theres a female rca jack for the camera but on the stock headunit the reversing camera wire/s are all fed into the harness.
Anyone have any ideas of what i could do?

find the reversing camera cable on the original harness, cut off the female connector on your new HU and splice both together?
 
I spoke to an audio installation place today and they told me that they would just replace the camera all together so the cables match up. So I guess my next question is does anyone know the size of oem reversing camera, I was told if I get a square one I would be able to plug it straight into the cover I already have which would be ideal
