so I have had my cj for about 4 months now and I'm looking to get a new exhaust any decent places around or not to far from campbelltown.
ps also not sure what kind of exhaust i want real i just want it to sound better.

a mate of mine with a CJ (jordan.fuchs on here) just got his done, it sounds pretty good and he loves it
im not too sure where he got it done, but if i was you, id stay away from 'good tone exhaust' in camden, as they welded up my zaust and my muffler fell of driving down the road

but it kind of depends on how much of the exhaust you want done and how much you want to spend, cause if its just a cat back or a noisy muffler, most places will do just fine

There is an exhaust shop on blaxland road Ctown which has a pretty good rep, might be worth just calling around and getting some quotes
 
Yeah wot cesario said evn though im from SA if ur just after noise change go the back alf no point spending money on new xtractors unless u intend on doin serious engine mods bro.

Yeah mate, I got it done at Profab exhaust in Narellan.
I originally just got axle back and was really happy with it, nice note and not too loud..
i ended up wanting moar loud and went back and got a high flow cat and midpipe put in and I'm soo happy with it.

As Ces said, avoid good tone, I have heard so many horror stories and them refusing to help.
Campbelltown exhaust has a good rep but seemed overpriced when I was ringing around for quotes.

Btw, bolt on or custom? I suggest custom, it's cheaper :)
 
Show me where I can get a bolt on axle back exhaust for a CJ for under $250 fitted.

Custom all the way man.
 
Try rapid exhaust in Fairy Meadow, bolt on axle back, a CAI will change yr engine note, some Super circuit headers won't hurt either. If you want ultra cheap, just get a straight thru muffler installed. Any muffler place can do that
 
+1 for Rapid Exhaust, they have done decent work at a good price for me. Sureflo Exhaust on the other hand in Campbelltown are one to steer well clear of!
 
Sounds alright mate. I've gotten a quote including postage for a cat(headerback) injen exhaust for $1050 from the USA. better than ebay surprisingly where they try to charge me $1200+
