well now i figured since i did my roof lining, i should do my sunvisors to match, so once again here is a diy just incase you were thinkin of doin it
what i needed:
scalpel set
scissors
cardboard
pencil
material
chalk
sewing machine
coffee
now since it was early in the morning and i was waiting for my lining to dry, i opted for aus lancer branded coffee instead of beer
firstly trace an outline of the sunvisor in cardboard
once traced, cut it out
lay the cutout on the carboard on the fabric and leave about 2-3cm each side and cut it out (need to cut out 2 pieces
next pin the 2 pieces of fabric together
now lay the visor over the fabric and trace an outline using chalk
sew across the outline except leave from the 2 marked points un sewed
fit the visor in to make sure if fits properly
go around the corners and cut some small tabs in it so when you turn it inside out it doesnt clump
now fit the visor in, sew it up (i had to hand sew this section) and win
all and all this was an easy one, had to get my mum to teach me how to sew (sow?) which wasnt too bad, some cool mum and me time doin something fun together
didnt turn out too bad, and looks pretty smick in my car now
