Dash/cluster/hedlights/indicator problems

okay so this started a while ago then stopped all together and now its starting to happen again

*first started
i was driving to the airport in sydney and my headlights and cluster went out illumination wise, im not sure about the rest of my dash (AC panel) etc it was really quick, at first i didnt notice because i was driving in a heavily lit

after this it didnt happen again...

until now

Today i was indicating and it was flicking on and off on my cluster as per usual, and then as i approached the corner and came to a stop i realised it wasnt flashing on the dash anymore so i went to flick my indicator again and it was already on, i may have imagined the problem occuring when the wheel was at full lock because it happened a couple of times but i really cant be sure
im thinking perhaps its a fuse or something but i wanted to know what you guys thought...

replace your headlight and indicator stalk. same thing happened to me. its a really common problem in ch lancers for the stalk to go. just buy a replacement off either a wreck, or a new one from mitsu (reccomend a new one since apparently they revised them to fix this problem)
 
Try and make it happen again so you can see if there really is a problem or it's just your imagination.

not sure if u fixed this yet, but mine had been doing the same thing for months, id tried opening the indicator stalk many times to tweak the plug contacts...no succes. went to wreckers, ripped one out of another ch for $20. good as new.
When i asked mitsubishi howmuch a new stalk would be they said $200. Not sure if the guy one the phone had no idea...or if thats a legit replacement cost but 200 is OUTRAGEOUS :evil: i can buy 10 second hand ones for that...even if they keep failing...im still out on top (Y)
