CH throttle cable adjustment

Anybody have any idea how to adjust the throttle cable on a CH to make it more loose? I just installed a 4g93 intake manifold on my 4g94 and the throttle plate is bolted on in a different position, so that the throttle body is held slightly open because the cable is too tight. So it idles at something stupid like 5000rpm.

Would appreciate everybody's wisdom :)
 
Loosen the two bolts and adjust the plate to where you need it then retighten the bolts

Won't work. The intake manifold is a 4g93, so the plate is held on in a different position, and the plate is at the edge of its movement. Need to know how to adjust the cable itself
 
enlongate the plate more? have you got any photos?

the cable itself is fixed length, so you cannot really adjust that. Only the positions at either end. If the Accelerator pedal is similar to the CE setup, it is not adjustable. So the adjustment needs to be done at the intake side.
 
OP grab yourself a CE 1.8 throttle cable if its to tight still. Should have a little more length in it.
 
Problem solved

I used one of the mounting holes instead of both, so that the cable was then too loose, then I angled it upwards until it was the right tension.
