Ce lancer 6g74 conversion....

Hi all,

Only new to this forum, tryed googling it but cant find any info, will the 6g74 bolt up to original mounting points in a ce 2 door lancer????

I hope i can do this conversion.
 
Thats what, the 3.4/6L V6 in a magna? or 380?


If so, I highly doubt it, not to mention you'll run into some substantial problems with engineering etc due to rules regulating that stuff (varies state to state but mostly the same)... If you were wanting a 6 cylinder, look at the 6a12 or 6a13...
 
It's been done, don't think anyone's done it in Australia. There's a few in America that I know of. But it certainly isn't a bolt-in job.
 
It has been done but I think in Australia the laws would not allow for it.
There have even been FTOs with 6G72 MIVEC conversions too

if you dont care too much about legality this would make an awesome sleeper - I actually know the guy that does the refash for the ecu.... and I have another friend that is doing this swap as well Bennet is only just starting he has ripped out th eold engine and cleaning up the engine bay and starting on the wiring... I think Edwin tuned the engine to 308hpatw and it did a 11.7 second pass. look if you were really serious about it I would ask the right questions and get all the info to see if you can get it passed the power to weight ratio is a killa

That is epic, if only there was some info on the parts required and all the custom parts required

there is the build of this one on MiragePerformanceForums somewhere
im sure if u look u'll find it
its an epic build and they go thru alot of what the did

also wish i had a headlight intake like that

F*** yeah that's mad, just smack a hole through ya 300 dollar headlights, not that ya give a *poo* of the cost if that car is yours. you could just imagine the cop that stands there with the clip board writing *poo* down at the rbt looking down at that and going "WTF ". Lol.
 
hahaha defect defect defect.... been hunting around looking for the build up on mirage performance but cant find a thing, if anyone has any further info that would be great.
 
never thought a magna engine could look so good ;) , wonder if they fixed the factory oil leaks before putting it in -_- lol
