Hey Guys,

Im starting to gather oodles of parts and im now onto the bushings, im going to go under the assumption that 99% of them are ratshiit by the way it sounds and feels when i corner and go over bumps.
I was wondering if someone could provide me a list of what bushings i should be replacing so i can go out and get them
I know my schway bar ones are 100% shot and the bar itself is looking pretty ghetto so im going to replace that too

also brands? who's tried what, best value for money? i dont need 'pro / comp' ones as i will only track my car once in a blue moon, its a street car / daily

Cheers

Superpro and nolathane are good bang for buck brands. Just type evo 6 bush into ebay and buy them all lol.

Generally from what I have read people rate Superpro higher than Nolethane, but how much of that is just fanboi-ism I don't know?!

I'd probably just buy whatever of the two is cheapest. There are multiple bushes though and many will likely need pressing into the control arms.

As for the sway bar D-bushes I think they should by easy to replace yourself (I know they are on my Falcon) but it might be worth checking whether there is any play in the sway bar links. Also, you'd want to check for play in the front ball joints. Maybe your shocks are also fairly cruddy?

You could always hit up Pedders for their $28 check and then decide what you want to do. My local one even took me under the car afterwards and showed me the issues they found, was money well spent...

(oh and yes I know this is bit of an old thread)

Thanks heaps Boss man!
Better late than never i guess

I will see if i can hit up a pedders this weekend and see what they say, from just a quick look i know the rear sway bar ones deff need replacing as they look pretty manky
Im not after race car high end spec ones, but im willing to pay to buy good quality ones
