4g94 performance mods

I've notice a visual difference between 'Hurricane' & 'Wildcat' extractors, as well as cost?
Do any Lancer owners wish to comment?
Thks

Quick trip in a time machine and grab some second hand parts
Just comparing the design/shape of 'Hurricane' cf. 'Wildcat' extractors for a 4G94..... large $$ difference, Wildcat joins look 'rough' compared to longer blended lengths of the Hurricane.
Comment?

So the wildcat ones look to be 4-2-1 system, compared to the RPW/Hurricane 4-1 system.

For these two products I’d say their quality is roughly equal in my experience fitting them to other cars, but someone may have more insight. Definitely more than good enough, but not show ready out the box. Personally I’d be more interested in the functional differences.

Provided the 4-1 is equal length, you’d really want to compare the primary lengths there.

I never went down the N/A pathway. I turbocharged my 4g94 instead.

I can look over my notes on exhaust theory during the week and report back.

Yep! Try $650+...just for those extractors!
Thats about right, and probably close to $500 to get a name brand (AEM, injen, etc) CAI.

Used to be able to do these mods for practically nothing, now even entry level mods cost multiple weeks savings. And for the bulk of non-RPW stuff, it comes from the USA which has exorbitant freight costs for no reason.

Unfortunatey you are RIGHT, shame really as these are a great beginners car. Update pricing 1) replacement cat-back system $700~$1,000, 2) extractors & flexi-bend $700~$800 and 3) high-flow cat-converter $200~$200 .......making those exhaust mods total $2,000+ ......
